The Elitist Bitch Customer at Home Depot
During my trip to Home Depot this morning I couldn’t help but noticing an older gentleman in his late 50′s to early 60′s working there. At the time I came across him he was trying to assist a woman
approximately the same age as him. As he was working to help this woman I couldn’t help but hear her say in the most condescending tone “Are you sweating” and by the tone of her voice this man’s
perspiration disgusted her. As I started to pay closer attention to the woman and the situation it was pretty clear to me this woman based on her clothing, general attitude, and tone had probably never done a days worth of
manual labor in her life. If I had the chance again I probably would have intervened in this situation. I might have said something along these lines. “Yes, this gentleman is sweating it’s what happens when
you earn an honest living”. It amazes me how out of touch some people are with the reality that exists around them. You think you’re better than me lady because you don’t sweat for a living? Policeman,
Firefighters, Soldiers yeah they all sweat too lady I hope you never need their assistance because I’m sure it will be unappreciated as well.
